Our Goddard School Teachers

I’m a working mother of 2 young children with a passion for Early Childhood Education. Since they were infants, I've seen the difference that high-quality, early childcare has made in preparing my children for school and life. I am thrilled to own and operate The Goddard School and provide Westport and surrounding communities with a high quality, joyful childcare experience! We are also a proud 2023, 2024 and 2025 "Circle of Excellence" school winner. This is an annual honor that recognizes schools that meet the highest standards set by Goddard Systems in the areas of health & safety, curriculum, overall quality and more. Eligibility is limited to franchisees that achieved the highest level of excellence, scoring in the top ten percent of each category.

Nadia opened our school in 2019, and has over 20 years of Early Childhood experience with all age groups, infants through school-aged children. In 2023, she was awarded "Director of the Year" among 630+ Goddard schools nationwide. She has Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology, credentials in Early Childhood Education, and the State of Connecticut Director’s Credentials. Nadia’s goal is to provide a high-quality care and enriched learning environment where each child’s uniqueness matters.

It is such a pleasure to be around children, positively impact their lives and watch how they grow and achieve many milestones along the way. I love creating an environment where children can learn through play, have fun, explore, and be themselves!

I have always had a passion for teaching. Early childhood is such an amazing time and being able to be a part of the growth and development of children is truly a blessing. I love having the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with the staff, children, and families here at The Goddard School.

In 2024, Miss Albina was awarded "Teacher of the Year" among over 630 Goddard schools nationwide. As an early childhood educator with over 20 years of experience, I’m thrilled to be a part of the Goddard family because I share their educational philosophy that young children learn best through play. I feel fortunate to be in a profession where I’m able to guide and encourage children at such a fun and important development stage in their lives!

I love working with children and being a crucial part of their learning journey. It is a privilege for me to encourage and foster life-long learning habits in all my students through play and interactive experiences. 

I love teaching because children are so eager to learn new things and I like to introduce them to new experiences! Their sense of humor and outlook on life brightens my day as an educator!

I love teaching because I have an opportunity to watch the children grow and become independent. I enjoy seeing them take what they have learned and apply it to their world. I love that the children also teach me something new too!

As an early childhood educator with over 15 years of experience, I look forward to preparing your children to “Get Set” for preschool. Playing with a purpose is what I enjoy most about teaching, and The Goddard School’s play-based curriculum supports that philosophy. My passion is encouraging children to explore and discover the world!

Watching young children learn, grow and thrive through play and knowing that I have played an important role in that is one of most rewarding aspects of my career in early childhood education! The best part is witnessing that “ah-ha” moment in a children’s eyes when they make a connection to something you have taught them as their teacher!

Becoming an educator at The Goddard School of Westport is an incredible and rewarding opportunity. It allows me to play a pivotal role in each child's early learning and development. I have always loved caring for and looking after children. Watching and helping guide infants through the first year of life is my favorite. From trying solids for the first time to taking their first steps, its always a privilege to see them grow!

A seed needs water, sun, love, and care to grow. With guidance along the way the seed transforms into a beautiful flower ready to keep on blooming. I am happy to be part of your child’s personal growth journey while providing a safe and caring environment. Where their physical, social, and cognitive skills will be developing through exploration, asking questions, creativity, imagination and most important all through play !

Working in Early Childhood education brings me joy and fulfillment. I love helping children grow, learn and reach milestones. It is rewarding to shape their early experiences with care and creativity.

I have always had a passion for youth education. I strongly believe that keeping a consistent schedule and routine is the foundation where trust is bonded with your child. I specialize in art and learning through discovery. I teach using sensory play, music and story time. Alongside my childcare experiences I also have a graphic design background in which I use to implement/support most of the projects that follow along with the Wonder of Learning curriculum.

I’m excited to be part of the Goddard team! I’ve always had a passion for working with children and watching them grow, learn, and discover the world around them. I chose the early childhood field because I believe these first years are the most important in building a strong foundation for a child’s future. Being able to nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners brings me so much joy.

I enjoy working with children because it allows me to create strong relationships with them and their families. Observing children's progress and milestones is something that I feel contributes to a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Children need educators that truly want to see the best for them and that’s why I love being able to add to the the development of the their learning and advocating for their needs and rights, which can have a beneficial impact on their life.

I absolutely love working at the Goddard school of Westport. My hearth fills with joy seeing how children grow, learn and reach their milestones. It's such a beautiful experience to be part of their journey and see them shine as they discover the world around them!

My passion for early childhood education stems from a deep belief in the power of hands-on learning and exploration. As an enrichment and social studies teacher, I treasure the opportunity to introduce children to the richness of diverse cultures, histories, and communities. Watching them explore, laugh, and engage in activities that spark creativity and critical thinking fills me with joy. My goal is to guide them in becoming compassionate global citizens who care deeply for the people, animals, and planet we share, fostering a sense of connection and responsibility that will last a lifetime.

I have always been inspired by my mother who has been a teacher for over 20 years, and her passion for teaching continues to motivate me every day. I chose to work at the Goddard School because teaching is my passion, and this school provides such a safe, positive, and loving community. I love helping children grow their minds while also giving them a second home filled with extra joy and support.
